Aisles
For safety and as a courtesy to other ticketholders, please do not sit or stand in the aisles. Aisles should be kept clear at all times. We ask that you comply with these policies. Any patron not in compliance is subject to ejection.

Alcohol Management
For most events at The Geauga Theater, alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.
Pursuant to applicable State law, we accept only the following forms of identification:
– A valid driver’s
– A valid passport
– A valid U.S. military ID

Bag Searches
The Geauga Theatre asks all guests to arrive early and travel light. All persons and bags are subject to search.

Broken Seats
If your seat is broken, please contact the nearest usher, manager, or employee for further assistance.

Cameras
Video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses, including SLR’s, are not permitted inside The Geauga Theater at any time.  This policy will be strictly enforced.  You may bring in a disposable or 35mm camera (with no zoom or telephoto lens), however, for some events, cameras of any type and/or flash photography may be prohibited.

Cancelled/Postponed Events
In the rare event that a Geauga Theater event is postponed or cancelled, please visit The Geauga Theater website for the most up-to-date information. 

Children
Please check the event profile for your specific event for the minimum age requirement prior to your purchase of tickets. For most events, all children who have reached their second birthday require a ticket to gain admittance to The Geauga Theater. Any child who has yet to reach their second birthday does not require a ticket, however, they may not occupy their own seat and must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. Please note, that for certain children’s events, all children who have reached their first birthday require a ticket.

Code of Conduct
We ask all guests to be respectful of others around them. Any guest who interferes with the enjoyment of another individual during an event is subject to ejection from the building. During performances, we ask all guests to remain seated for the duration of the performance. Depending on the demographics of certain events (such as concerts), standing may be accepted as normal protocol. Guests are permitted to stand if the majority of the audience is doing the same. Some entertainers will instruct The Geauga Theater staff not to ask anyone to sit down during their performance. Standing on seats or any other building structure is not permitted and may result in ejection from the event. 

Concessions
If you are looking for a snack or a drink at an event, please stop by our concessions to purchase popcorn, candy, soft drinks, and bottled water. At some events, pizza and other items may also be available for purchase as well as beer, wine and spirits.  Outside food and beverage, including water, are prohibited. Food and drink are allowed in the seating area, however, we ask that you be respectful of The Geauga Theater and others sitting around you.

Door Opening Times
Doors for events at The Geauga Theater typically open one hour prior to event start time.

Dress Code
Unless otherwise noted, The Geauga Theater does not have a formal dress code. We do ask, however, that you use your best personal judgement when dressing for an event.

Flash Photography
Flash Photography inside The Geauga Theater is prohibited at all times. Flash photography is not only distracting to the performers, but to your fellow patrons as well.

Food and Beverage
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the theater. Our concession stands offer a wide variety of beverage and snack options.

Guest Services
The Geauga Theatre is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek an usher, manager or employee.

Handouts/Leaflets/Vending
The distribution of promotional items, flyers, handbills or printed materials is not permitted without the written permission of The Geauga Theatre. In addition, vending, peddling or product sampling is not allowed.

Inclement Weather
The Geauga Theater rarely cancels or postpones events due to inclement weather. Please be advised that tickets for all events are sold on a non-refundable and non-exchangeable basis. This stipulation is clearly marked on each ticket and agreed to upon purchase. Should a decision be made to cancel or postpone an event, this information will be posted, as soon as we receive it, on our website. Please continue to check our website and call our main information telephone line for the latest, up-to-the-minute information.

Lost and Found
If you’ve misplaced an item while you’re still at the theatre, please visit our concession stand in the Lobby. Any items found by ushers or other patrons will be taken to the concession stand. If you have already left the theater, please contact us for items lost in The Geauga Theater and we’ll be happy to check our Lost and Found for you.

Lost Children
If you become separated from your child during an event, please seek the nearest usher, manager or employee for assistance. It always helps if your child has his or her seat location information with them.

Lost Tickets
If you have lost your tickets or they have been stolen before your event takes place, please contact The Geauga Theater for further assistance.

Merchandise
The Geauga Theater displays merchandise for sale in the lobby. Merchandise can be purchased at the concession stand terminal.

Minimum Age Policy

Prohibited Items
We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light as you may be subject to search. We ask that our guests avoid bringing unnecessary items. The Geauga Theater may utilize metal detecting hand wands, walk-through metal detectors or other devices. Bags that have passed inspection must fit comfortably under your seat. Amongst items that are prohibited from The Geauga Theater are: weapons, laser pens, signs, banners, oversized bags, outside food and beverage, including water, cans, bottles, alcohol, drugs, video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices and SLR cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses. You may bring in a disposable, 35mm or digital point and shoot camera (with no zoom or telephoto lens), however, for some events, cameras of any type and/or flash photography may be prohibited.

Recording Devices
Video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses are not permitted inside The Geauga Theater at any time unless specifically . This policy will be strictly enforced.

Refunds & Exchanges
The Geauga Theater has a no refund, no exchange policy on tickets for all events. In the case that a show is cancelled or postponed and a refund is offered, the ticket service fees will not be refunded.

Seating Capacity
For most events, the seating capacity is approximately 292, however, this capacity does change depending on the scaling of the event.

Service Fees 
Please understand that a facility surcharge is included in the ticket price. Please be aware that the surcharges cover the costs of performing the administrative functions necessary to process ticket orders.

Smoking
By law, smoking in all areas of The Geauga Theater is prohibited. You may smoke outside the theatre building; however, you must retain your ticket for admittance back into the building.

Standing
During some concerts, the artists may encourage guests to stand immediately in front of their seats during the entirety of the performance. On those occasions, standing guests shall continue to be respectful of others around them and avoid blocking the view of other guests. Standing on seats or any other building structure is not permitted and may result in ejection from the event.

Tickets
You can purchase tickets online at www.geauga.theater or in person day of event. 

Ticket Stubs
Please hold on to your ticket. Your ticket is proof that you are in possession of a valid ticket for the event that you are attending and also designates your correct seat location. This information will also help our staff locate your party in the event that you become separated. The Geauga Theater staff may ask to see your ticket at any time during the event. You will also need to keep your ticket in the rare occurrence an event is cut short for any reason.
